window-side

window-side is not a new VM: it boots the same Windows you already dual boot, in a window on Linux, and Windows still boots natively too.

• One calm window. Start, open and stop Windows from the app or tray, with live CPU, memory, GPU and network.
• Your whole GPU. Windows owns the graphics card, so games run at full frame rate in a Linux window through Looking Glass.
• Signed in for you. The Windows password stays in the Linux keyring and is typed in at boot.
• Built for agents. Key-only SSH, PowerShell, file copies, metrics and updates as JSON from ws, plus bundled skills for Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode.
• Guided setup. Finds the drive and GPU, shows every file it will write, then asks for the password once.

v0.1 is a prerelease, tested end to end on Arch with Hyprland and Limine.
